EPW - Swiss, unsigned quarter hour repeater with chronograph, 62mm, decorative 18K rose gold original HC with gold cuvette, initials on rear, SW-LS, WE impressed SSD, lever escapement, 17J, gilt mvt with exposed governor, case s#21915. Gross weight of assembled watch 96.5 dwt (150.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking sluggishly on a full wind, good chronograph function, repeater mechanism gummy, can be coaxed through full strike, needs full OH, fine mvt condition overall, scratches and mars in areas on plate surface; case lift-spring provides little or no lift; light gauge case shows very light wear, typical MFS, mild dents at perimeter of front, scattered denting to band and rear lids, small tear through lid at lower rear, good engraving detail, front closes leaving gaps to band in places; brass bow pivots freely, brass crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
